Mackenzi Lee Writing YA Loki Novel for Marvel

Loki will take on a starring role in Marvel’s latest YA series!

The Gentleman’s Guide To Vice and Virtue author Mackenzi Lee is teaming up with Marvel for a new YA project, and it is burdened with glorious purpose!

Lee will be writing a three-book Marvel series based around anti-heroes, the first of which will follow none other than Loki, the trickster god and Thor’s adopted brother.

Since the announcement from Bustle appeared, the author has confirmed one very exciting thing about the first novel: In same vein as the comics and the Norse mythology that inspired the character before it, it will explore Loki as a pansexual, shape-shifting being who’s out to wreak a little havoc (and maybe save the day.) Lee says it best:

The untitled Loki novel is expected out in Spring 2019.
