Madame Tussards Immortalizes Katniss Everdeen in Wax

THE HUNGER GAMES’ Katniss Everdeen is now a resident of Madame Tussards Wax Museum.

The Girl On Fire has been immortalized as a freshly minted wax figure! The likenesses of Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen have popped up on not one but three separate Madame Tussards locations– New York, Los Angeles, and the wax museum’s massive headquarters in London.

The London wax figure features Katniss in her District 12 CATCHING FIRE getup, complete with her father’s leather jacket, the infamous “Katniss cowl” and her quiver with arrows. The figure will stay in the museum for about a year, through the release of Mockingjay Part 2.

“We are hugely excited to have worked with Lionsgate to launch a Katniss wax figure following The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1. … The figure is in its own film-specific backdrop, allowing our guests to get up close to Katniss and the beloved story of The Hunger Games, which we know they’ll love.”
