Beloved MARVEL characters, like Loki and Scarlet Witch, will get their own TV series on Disney Streaming Service!
According to Variety, Marvel is planning on producing new TV shows focused on some of their beloved characters from the MCU, this time with Disney’s streaming service.
The project, which is in an early phase of development, will have series focused on characters from the MCU that don’t have their own standalone movies, like fan-favorites Loki and Scarlet Witch. Tom Hiddleston and Elizabeth Olsen, who currently play them at the films, will most likely keep portraying them in their respective series.
To keep the continuity within the MCU, the shows are set to be produced by Marvel Studios and its mastermind Kevin Feige is set to take a hands-on role on the project, which is rumored to have a similar budget to the average Marvel film.
Being in early development, there are no dates yet for the project, but Disney’s streaming service is set to be launched in late 2019, giving the fans enough reason to expect at least one these shows to be released by that time.
