We’ve got our first sign that Marvel’s upcoming AGENT CARTER won’t just be Hayley Atwell and a bunch of dudes!
Lyndsy Fonseca (NIKITA, KICK-ASS) has been cast as Angie Martinelli, a local waitress / aspiring actress who befriends Peggy Carter.
Very little else has been said about the character, but we’re hoping that Fonseca’s NIKITA training doesn’t go to waste on this show and we get yet another kickass female character in the mix!
Then again, Martinelli’s role in the series may be small and contingent on the success (or failure, really) of Amazon’s comedy pilot DOWN DOG, in which Fonseca was also just tapped to star.
