McG Tapped to Direct SHADOWHUNTERS Pilot

McG, the director behind CHARLIE’S ANGELS and TERMINATOR: SALVATION is introducing the world of SHADOWHUNTERS!

It’s pretty rare that a known film director takes on a television pilot, which reminds us once again that SHADOWHUNTERS is more than your average television show! Director McG has signed on to helm the SHADOWHUNTERS TV series this May. He’s best known for his work on action and action/comedy films including both CHARLIE’S ANGELS films, TERMINATOR: SALVATION, THIS MEANS WAR, and 3 DAYS TO KILL.

McG has also joined the SHADOWHUNTERS creative team as an executive producer, which is a great thing considering his producing experience on snarky, fun shows with heart like THE OC, SUPERNATURAL, and CHUCK.

The SHADOWHUNTERS television show is set to start filming in May. So far, the cast has not been announced, but it’s only a matter of time!
