Michael B. Jordan to join BLACK PANTHER cast

Fantastic Four star Michael B. Jordan in talks to join Chadwick Boseman in Marvel’s Black Panther.

It was announced today that Michael B. Jordan (Creed) is currently in negotiations to join the cast of Black Panther.  He’ll be joining Chadwick Boseman, who plays the title role and can currently be seen in character in Captain America: Civil War (as if you didn’t know already), and Lupita Nyong’o who’s also in negotiations to star as the Panther’s love interest.

michael-b-jordan-as-torchJordan will be re-teaming with director Ryan Coogler who also directed him in both Fruitvale Station and Creed, for which they both received honors and recognition for, in both films.

Although there has been no word on what character Michael will be playing, I don’t think it will be the Johnny “Torch” Storm, his character from 2015’s Fantastic Four film, which unfortunately did not do much better than the 2005 version.  But than again, it’s possible that he could be appearing as Torch, considering Black Panther’s association with the Fantastic team. Highly improbably, but not completely impossible.

Either way, this cast lineup just keeps getting better and better.
