Michael B. Jordan Makes Directorial Debut with Adaptation of THE STARS BENEATH OUR FEET

David Barclay Moore’s debut novel, The Stars Beneath Our Feet, which was published by Random House this September has been acquired by Endeaver Content to adapt into a feature film. Michael B. Jordan is set to make his feature directorial debut on the film. Jordan will also produce the film while the author with write the script an executive produce.

In the wake of his brother’s death, a young African American youth tries to steer a safe path through the projects in Harlem, aided by his imagination and the magic of Legos.

“Directing has been an area I’ve wanted to explore for some time now. The Stars Beneath Our Feet tells a story that really spoke to me, and I’m looking forward to jumping behind the camera. I’ve had the opportunity to work with some very smart and talented directors and it inspired me to take on this new challenge,” explains Jordan on his decision to sign on to the film.

Jordan’s acting credits include Creed, Fantastic Four, Chronicle, and Fruitvale Station. He can also be seen in the upcoming adaptation of Fahrenheit 451, Black Panther, and the sequel to Creed.\
