Milo Ventimiglia Joins GOTHAM As Series Original Villain, The Ogre

GOTHAM’s newest character may seem suave, but he’s really quite The Ogre.

Milo Ventimiglia (HEROES, GILMORE GIRLS) is the latest resident of GOTHAM with a big secret. His character may seem like a stand-up guy, but it turns out he’s actually The Ogre, a vicious Ted Bundy-esque serial killer.

From THR:

Ventimiglia’s character — whose real name is Jason Lennon — is described as “handsome, wealthy and seductive,” but that merely hides a dark side: He’s also a serial killer who’s been murdering young women in Gotham for almost a decade in his search for a perfect mate.

The Ogre will be a recurring role throughout the series as Detective Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) tries to pinpoint the killer while also dealing with the many other issues faced in GOTHAM.

Though there is another Ogre in DC Comics, GOTHAM promises that Milo’s character is completely original and not a reference to any existing BATMAN or DC canon.

Milo Ventimiglia will make his first appearance as The Ogre in Episode 19.
