See these pretty Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children Character Posters, including Eva Green as Miss Peregrine.

Although I have yet to read all three of the Miss Peregrine books, I’m really excited to see how Tim Burton put all of it together for the movie adaptation.  There’s already been a movie trailer for it, and released today were these Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children character posters that look very Burton-esque.

They’re definitely a lot more colorful and brighter than I had imagined from the first book, but I can’t say that I’m surprised.  Fans of the books may be a bit disgruntled about certain character changes, but I’m the one who’s more open to watching the movie first before making any judgment on it.

Considering that I love Asa Butterfield in anything he does (the young man definitely has amazing talent), I’m looking more on this being true to the essence of the book more than the specific details being exactly like the book.

When Jacob discovers clues to a mystery that spans different worlds and times, he finds a magical place known as Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. But the mystery and danger deepen as he gets to know the residents and learns about their special powers… and their powerful enemies. Ultimately, Jacob discovers that only his own special “peculiarity” can save his new friends.
