Fantastic Fest will host MISS PEREGRINE’S HOME FOR PECULIAR CHILDREN premiere

MISS PEREGRINE’S HOME FOR PECULIAR CHILDREN premiere will be held at Fantastic Fest right before U.S. nationwide release.

Be one of the first to watch the Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children premiere at Fantastic Fest this September!

Yes, it was announced earlier this week that Fantastic Fest will be holding a red-carpet screening of Tim Burton‘s highly anticipated movie. Miss Peregrine’s Home of Peculiar Children is an adaptation of author Ransom Riggs’ quirky and mysterious novel of the same name. It is also the first book in the Miss Peregrine trilogy.

The movie stars Eva Green as Miss Peregrine, the curious woman who runs the home for peculiar children. Asa Butterfield plays 16-year-old Jacob Portman, who goes in search for the home. Ella Purnell, Chris O’Dowd, Allison Janney, Rupert Everett, Terence Stamp, Judi Dench and Samuel L. Jackson also star.

Fantastic Fest is in its 12th year and is a big draw for genre films. It premiered Tim Burton’s black and white stop-motion animated film, Frankenweenie, back in 2012. This year’s event will take place at the Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar in Austin, Texas, from September 22nd to 29th.
