Today has been a bittersweet one for sure. It’s hard to believe, but filming for The Hunger Games trilogy wrapped up today, June 20, 2014. Years of fan casting, casting announcements, and filming has ended, and we all know there were some tears shed today.
Producer Nina Jacobson took to twitter to share her final-filming day feelings and photo:

And Director, Francis Lawrence gave us a twitter countdown, of sorts:

While it’s so very hard to believe that it’s over, an end of an era, we — luckily– still have two movies waiting to be seen! And as sad as today was for many of us, it’s important to look forward to all the greatness that awaits. This ride isn’t over yet!
