POWERLESS promo shows the morning train ride gone awry in superhero fashion!

Most people wouldn’t describe their morning commute as interesting, but things are different in Charm City, the setting for NBC’s Powerless. Emily Locke (Vanessa Hudgens) is new to the city and still takes away some excitement from a superhero showdown during her ride into work, but her fellow passengers are so over it. Apparently, so is the superhero who saves the day when the train is derailed: Crimson Fox!

The DC comedy hasn’t specified exactly which superheroes will step up in to save Charm City, but we’re definitely expecting plenty of comic references as various heroes pop up to save the Wayne Security staff.

Powerless premieres Thursday, February 2, 2017 on NBC.

Emily Locke lands her dream job as Director of Research and Development for Wayne Security in Charm City, home to super heroes and villains and citizens fed up with the collateral damage of their constant fighting. Full of confidence and big ideas, Emily quickly learns that her aspirations far exceed those of her new boss and officemates, so it will be up to her to lead the team toward their full potential and the realization that you don’t need superpowers to be a hero.
