The first presentation for MTV’s and mtvU’s Fandom awards will take place at San Diego Comic-Con this year at the Petco park. This time around MTV has opened the voting to everyone.
Giving fans the option to vote for favorite ‘OMG Moment of the Year’, ‘Ship of the Year’ and more, the ultimate prize goes to the nominees for the ‘Fandom of the Year’. Categorized are fandoms from four different medias: TV Drama, Film, TV Comedies and Animation.
The ‘Fandom of the Year’ award is the ultimate celebration of the biggest fandoms in pop culture,” said Ryan Kroft, mtvU Fandom Awards’ Executive Producer.
You can also vote for the “Best Fandom Forever” which include:
- “Harry Potter”
- “The Lord of the Rings”
- “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”
- “Doctor Who”
- “Sherlock”
- “Batman”
Voting is open now: All Categories , Fandom of the Year and BFF of the Year.
