ANNUAL MUSICAL ANATOMY OF A SUPERHERO returns to Comic-Con

The ANNUAL MUSICAL ANATOMY OF A SUPERHERO panel makes its way back to Comic-Con for the fifth time.

With Comic-Con arriving later this month, we’re getting to see the panels and what will be presented in movies, TV shows, comics, and other pop culture media, including the panel for the Annual Musical Anatomy of a Superhero.

This year, the music-centric panel is bringing major TV and movie composers to the stage. Swedish composer Ludwig Goransson will get to talk about his work on next year’s Marvel movie Black Panther, as well as his work on the Death Wish remake. Academy-award winner Marco Beltrami, who compsed the music for this year’s Logan, The Wolverine, and Fox’s Lucifer, will also be there.

Mark Isham, who composed the music for ABC’s Once Upon a Time and is working on the music for Freeform’s upcoming Marvel series Cloak & Dagger, Avengers: Age of Ultron composer Brian Tyler, Fox’s Gotham composer David Russo, and The Lego Batman Movie composer Lorne Balfe round out the panelists that get to talk about their craft.

The Musical Anatomy of a Superhero panel will be held at HIlton Bayfront’s Indigo Ballroom on Thursday, July 20th at 10am. Moderating the panel will be Costa Communications chief Ray Costa.
