Watch new ‘Who Will Survive’ promo and check out new pictures from THE 100 season four!
The 100 has constantly thrown world-ending situations at its characters for the past three seasons, keeping its viewers on the edge of their seat. But we’ve always known that our heroes would find a way out. This time, however, the stakes are higher and the threat is greater. With the very planet being the thing they have to fight against, our characters may not be able to save the world this time, but they still have to survive. Check out a new promo, titled ‘Who Will Survive?’, for The 100 Season four below:
In this promo we can see Clarke (Eliza Taylor) struggling with the weight of this secret, and unsure of how to tell her people what she knows. We also get a glimpse at the increasing tension between the Grounders and the Skaikru, as the two groups seem to be at odds again.
In an exclusive first look, Entertainment Weekly revealed two new photos, including one of new character Ilian (Chai Romruen). Ilian is a grounder who blames the Sky People for introducing the A.L.I.E. technology and the destruction that followed.
“He was forced to do some horrible things while being driven by A.L.I.E.,” showrunner Jason Rothenberg explains about Ilian. “He’s dedicated to making sure that never happens again.”
Rothenberg also discussed how the only way to survive may be to look past tribal politics completely, and how Bellamy (Bob Morley) starts to realize that after his sister Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) moves on without him. “It’s human nature to save our families, our friends first. Can you take a little bit less for yourself in order to let somebody else have something?”
EW also released a photo of Bellamy and Clarke, who, on a slightly brighter note, seem to finally be back to doing what they do best: leading together.
