In anticipation of the Blu-Ray/DVD release of Avengers: Age of Ultron, Marvel will continue to show us bits of the featurettes and scenes from the movie. In this featurette, we get a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to create a superhero, as we look at Paul Bettany becoming Vision.
Surprisingly, his makeup process is quite short compared to what others sometimes have to go through to perfect the look of the creature/monster/android they’re supposed to play. But his makeup is limited a lot by it being pretty much just his face and hands, since Vision is dressed in a full body suit. It can be a tiresome task, but at least Bettany makes the best of it, I think, especially when he describes what it feels like to have water poured into his suit to cool – “it’s a little like being inside a gin and tonic.”
Marvel’s “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” will be available on 3D Digital and Digital HD September 8 and on 3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray, DVD, Digital SD and VOD October 2!
When Tony Stark and Bruce Banner try to jump-start a dormant peacekeeping program called Ultron, things go horribly wrong and it’s up to Earth’s Mightiest Heroes to stop the villainous Ultron from enacting his terrible plans.
