New Clip From The Jungle Book “What’s That Strange Odor?”

In a new clip for the reimagined film, The Jungle Book, Shere Khan discovers Mowgli and reminds the other animals that “man is forbidden.”

In this new clip for the reimagined Disney Classic, The Jungle Book, Director Jon Favreau looks to create a more realistic environment while using CGI for the majority of the “cast.”

It has been reported that 99% of the animals and the environment are made using CGI, while Mowgli is the only live-action character. The film was shot in a studio in Los Angeles and though the idea of seeing another movie in full CGI mode, that is not the case with The Jungle Book.

While other Disney classics were a bit jarring to watch in CGI, Maleficent and Alice In Wonderland, the clip below washes away any of that doubt for The Jungle Book. Watch a scene from the movie below:

The animals and the environments are very much believable; from the perfect casting of Idris Elba as Shere Khan to the details of the animals themselves. You can really forget the CGI and just watch the majestic creatures play out the scene. Almost life like.

The Jungle Book premieres April 15th.
