New DOCTOR STRANGE calendar features Benedict Cumberbatch photos!

The new Doctor Strange movie hits theaters on November 4. Until then, Marvel will be releasing a stream of Strange-related merchandise in anticipation of the new film.

One piece of merchandise currently available is a Doctor Strange calendar featuring some of the strange visuals expected from the movie. Throughout this 16-month calendar, Doctor Strange, played by Benedict Cumberbatch, is shown as Master of the Mystical Arts. Consequently, the art promoted in the calendar is saturated with the psychedelic effects consistent throughout the film.

In other words:

Most of it is, well, strange. 

Before he met the Sorcerer Supreme, Doctor Stephen Vincent Strange was an unlikable and egotistical neurosurgeon. Yet everything changes when a car accident limits Strange’s use of his hands, sending him on a maddening quest for a miracle cure. This origin story introduces the magical and mystical realms of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
