A new image from ANT-MAN AND THE WASP show both Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne in flight.

Entertainment Weekly released a couple of new images from Ant-Man and the Wasp, and we also know a little more about the actors joining the Ant-Man sequel.

First off, check out the two titular characters. It’s good to note that this will be Marvel’s first movie with a female character in the title, which Evangeline Lilly feels honored to take on, with maybe a little bit of stress.

“If I’m honest with myself, I feel a lot of pressure to make sure that it is everything that the world wants it to be.”

Famed actress Michelle Pfeiffer (Mother!, Murder on the Orient Express) will be playing Hope’s long-lost mother, Janet van Dyne, who was presumed dead when she entered the Quantum Realm. But as we saw in the first film, *spoilers* Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) was able to come back from that exact place. Thus it becomes Hope’s mission to get her mom back.

Hannah John-Kamen plays Ghost, the main antagonist in the movie, and a role that was originally male in gender. This change shouldn’t cause any controversy as John-Kamen has proven her ability to be bad in her recent role as F’Nale in Ready Player One, and her ability to be a badass as shown during her time on Syfy’s Killjoys.

The Matrix‘s Laurence Fishburne will be playing Bill Forster, who is a former colleague of Scott’s. In the comics, Bill is also a superhero known as Black Goliath and has similar powers to Hank and Scott where he can increase his size and mass.

Walton Goggins will be playing Sunny Burch, who we presume will act as a minor antagonist in the film. In the comics, he was actually a minor villain in the Iron Man comics.

Ant-Man and the Wasp is set to hit theaters July 6th.
