Marvel’s two action packed shows, Daredevil and Jessica Jones, will not be returning until 2018.

Marvel has been killing it recently in the TV show department, with five series currently airing on Netflix, and MANY more to come. However, two of our favorite shows, Daredevil and Jessica Jones, won’t have another season until 2018.

Because Season 2 of Jessica Jones has been in the works longer, it will be released before Daredevil’s season 3. As soon as The Defenders has completed filming, the cast of Jessica Jones will begin theirs. 

Although this seems disappointing, all hope is not lost! We’ll still be able to see our favorite heroes on The Defenders, because both Daredevil and Jessica Jones have starring roles.

Luke Cage, another Marvel show, will be debuting its first season on September 30th. Iron Fist is expected to drop in early 2017. Later that year, The Defenders will come out, and then the wait for Daredevil and Jessica Jones begins. And right after that, another new series will drop, starring our favorite anti-hero, the Punisher.

It’s clear that we have an action-packed two years ahead of us! Who’s excited?
