This new image of Katniss and Effie looks particularly somber
The final movie of The Hunger Games franchise is almost here, and thus new images from the upcoming Mockingjay part 2, including this image of Katniss and Effie in what looks to be a mansion, possibly in the Capitol.
As you can see, Effie is looking quite much like her Capitol self, and done away is the gray and bland look that she was sporting in Mockingjay Part 1. That should give you a hint as to when this image is happening in the movie.
As to what director Francis Lawrence thinks of this final chapter:
“There is some serious girl power in this movie,” says director Francis Lawrence, who gives all the credit to author Suzanne Collins. “She wrote it that way, and it’s been so much fun to inhabit.”
If you can’t see why this series is such an amazing story already, then maybe you’ll find out why in this one:
“It’s probably the most emotional of the bunch,” he says. “And I think it’s the most satisfying of the bunch.”
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 comes out in theaters November 20, 2015.
