Nicole Kidman is on her way to playing a major role in WONDER WOMAN!
Wonder Woman is a comic hero and a female icon in her own right, but having some back-up from Nicole Kidman sure can’t hurt!
Academy Award winning actress Nicole Kidman is reportedly in final talks to join Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman alongside Gal Gadot and Chris Pine, who has just been confirmed to play Diana Prince’s love interest, Steve Trevor.
According to The Wrap, Kidman may play Hippolyta, Queen of the Amazons and Diana Prince’s biological mother.
Warner Bros has yet to confirm that the casting is underway, but that’s pretty normal for the studio. After all, Chris Pine’s involvement was just confirmed within the past week and he’s been attached to the project for months.
If negotiations go well, this won’t be the first comic book adaptation for Nicole Kidman– She also starred in 1995’s Batman Forever.
Wonder Woman will hit theaters on June 23, 2017.
