Fox released a poster for its upcoming horror-positive X-Men related flick THE NEW MUTANTS and we’re creeped out!
The X-Men related, but certainly not kid-friendly, movie The New Mutants centers on a handful of powerful, young mutants that are being held in a facility that looks more like an asylum from Silent Hill than a place to test teenagers on their abilities.
If you haven’t seen the trailer for The New Mutants that was released in October, you can watch it here.
This week, Fox has released a poster that matches the horror vibe the trailer is giving, and although it may be a little subtle, it’s pretty effective.
There isn’t an official synopsis for the movie just yet, but we’re still excited to watch it, especially with the multi-talented cast of Maisie Williams (HBO’s Game of Thrones) as Rahne Sinclair/Wolfsbane, Charlie Heaton (Netflix’s Stranger Things) as Sam Guthrie/Cannonball, Henry Zaga (Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why) as Roberto da Costa/Sunspot, Blu Hunt (The CW’s The Originals) as Danielle Moonstar/Mirage, and Anya Taylor-Joy (Split) as Illyana Rasputin/Magik.
The New Mutants creeps into theaters April 13, 2018.
