With the midseason premiere so close, ABC celebrated Once Upon a Time‘s 100th episode with the Once Upon a Time Cast in Vancouver. The Once cast has been through a lot– they’ve fought dragons, had too many sword fights to count, and have had to go through some pretty harrowing emotional scenes. So, at the 100 episode celebration, TVLine asked cast members like Jennifer Morrison, Colin O’Donoghue, Josh Dallas, and Lana Parilla to discuss their most difficult scenes while filming the show.

Among the many cast members interviewed, Jennifer Morrison (Emma Swan) shared with TV Line that her most difficult scene was when Hook decided to sacrifice himself to the darkness. Morrison says that they had to film that scene twice, and that it was extremely emotionally draining because of how “heartbreaking” it was. Additionally, hilariously, Josh Dallas (David Nolan/Charming) discussed how he had to “rid[e] a giant pickle” and pretend it was a dragon.

Once Upon a Time returns March 6 on ABC at 8/7c.
