In the midseason finale, Emma and the Storybrooke gang were about to journey to the Underworld to rescue Hook where they will face off against Hades. Ally McBeal alum Greg Germann joins Once Upon a Time as the fiery villain.
Here’s what EP Adam Horowitz had to say about their take on the character:
“We’re going to be meeting the Once Upon a Time version of Hades in the second half of the season. While he is both inspired by a myth and by the Disney movie version, as we like to do, we’re trying to create our own Once Upon a Time spin. We can’t wait for everyone to see what [Germann] does with the character.”
And here is what EP Edward Kitsis had to say on how Hades fits in to the story:
“He absolutely has a surprising connection to one of our cast.”
Horowitz was quick to add that he is not related to any of the cast.
