A man in Mexico City officially has the largest HARRY POTTER memorabilia collection in existence, according to the Guinness Book of World Records.
Menahem Asher Silva Vargas has at least 3,097 items from the series, from replica brooms and costume pieces to figurines and stuffed animals. He began the collection 15 years ago. Filling two rooms of his home, his treasure trove demolishes the previous record of 807 items.
However, having such a stellar collection comes at a price, he admits:
“My salary, my bonuses … it all ended up here.”
