Orphan Black show runners, John Fawcette and Graeme Manson, have revealed some details about scenes that didn’t quite make the cut in season 2, one of which includes a showdown between Donnie and Rachel — who wouldn’t want to see that?! In addition, they also briefly talk about Project Castor and how it will affect Sarah in season 3. Click below image for video!
“At the very end of Season 2 we introduced Project Castor,” Manson said. “Where did these boys come from? What do they want? And why won’t they leave Sarah Manning alone? I think that’s going to be one of our most interesting journeys this year.”
Fawcett agreed, calling the Project Castor revelation “a big piece of the puzzle” regarding Sarah continuing to discover her origins in Season 3.
What does it all mean? We’ll have to wait until the new season premieres in 2015 to find out, but in the meantime there was some more to dish about Season 2. Apparently there was a whole Allison-Donnie storyline that had to be cut from the finale, and it all ended with a Donnie-Rachel showdown. We’d totally pay to see that, and now we can — it’s all included in bonus footage on the Season 2 DVD/Blu-ray.
