OUTLANDER prepares to go to all new places in Season 2!
WARNING: This post contains minor spoilers regarding the setting and events for Season 2 of OUTLANDER.
Following the brutal attack on Jamie Fraser and his escape from Wentworth Prison, he and Claire are escaping to the refuge of France. But they’re not just in hiding– They’re hoping to intercept the Bonnie Prince Charlie and stop the Jacobite rebellion, a failed Scottish revolution that killed thousands of Highlanders and much of the culture soon after, from ever happening.
Now, the cast (including Sam Heughan, Caitriona Balfe, and Lotte Verbeek) and Executive Producer Ron Moore are discussing the challenges of creating an almost entirely different show with new costumes, new settings, and a slew of soon-to-be-introduced characters, all in the confines of a different culture.
OUTLANDER is set to return in Spring 2016.
