OUTLANDER Employs “Useful Occupations and Deceptions” In Episode 3 Trailer

Jamie raises the stakes in OUTLANDER “Useful Occupations and Deceptions” preview!

The Frasers are throwing their caps into the political arena in earnest in the new trailer for Outlander Episode 3, “Useful Occupations and Deceptions”!

Using chess as a very heavy-handed metaphor for politics, the trailer shows Jamie’s constant political dealings with French finance minister Monsieur Duvernay and Scottish heir Prince Charles (all with Murtagh close by his side,) the Frasers unraveling the prince’s secret correspondence, and our first glimpse of wee Fergus pickpocketing his way through the streets of Paris as they effort to stop the Battle of Culloden continues!

Political intrigue is all well and good, but we’re really looking forward to meeting Fergus and Mother Hildegarde, who also seems to be featured!

Outlander airs Saturdays on Starz.

Official Synopsis:

Jamie’s days and nights are dominated by political machinations, while Claire finds solace in her healing skills. As their plan to stop Culloden progresses, including engaging the aid of a young pickpocket, the past threatens to derail their forward momentum.
