Nerves and doubt plague Paige before her big LOCKED audition on FAMOUS IN LOVE!

The first clips from Freeform’s upcoming series Famous In Love, based on the best-selling novel by Rebecca Serle, have surfaced online!

The show follows college student Paige Townsen, who is swept up into a world of stardom, power, and deception after landing the lead role in the movie adaptation of a wildly popular (fictional) book series, Locked.

Though this story has Paige becoming a big star, it’s actually her best friend, Cassie, who convinces her to audition for Locked with the help of Jake, who may be more than just a friend from the looks of it. It seems Paige has been trying to appease her parents by pursuing another path, but her friends are dropping some truth bombs.

Reality hits hard and fast when Paige and Cassie get to the open casting call and find themselves swimming in a sea of wannabe starlets. Realizing how badly she wants this and how high the odds are, Paige begins to panic.

Famous In Love premieres on Freeform on April 18, 2017.
