Peacock releases VAMPIRE ACADEMY Official Trailer

Vampires are back again, but this is a slightly different world of vampires than those of Julie Plec’s previous vampire shows. This time it’s in a world where dhampirs and strigois exist among those who are considered royalty. Fans of Richelle Mead’s Vampire Academy book series know all too well about this urban fantasy story and we’re sure that they’re very much excited to dive into it again, in small screen form.

A while back, Entertainment Weekly released some images of our new Vampire Academy group. It was exciting to see a few of the main characters personified by a diverse group of actors and now we finally get a trailer!

Under the watchful eye of Julie Plec, who successfully brought The Vampire Diaries and its spinoff shows to entertaining and extensive runs, fans are hopeful this series will receive the same results.

The series will start Thursday, September 15th, on the Peacock streaming channel, so now’s a good to sign up for it if you want to watch more than just this trailer.

The cast looks unapologetically beautiful, even though most of the actors may not be all that well-known. But that shouldn’t matter as we’ve seen many actors find popularity through their work in TV.

Actress Sisi Stringer heads up the show as the main character, Rose Hathaway, the dhampir whose life purpose is to protect royal and best friend, Lissa Dragomir, played by Daniela Nieves. Kieron Moore and Andre Dae Kim play Dmitri Belikov and Christian Ozera respectively, the love interests of Rose and Lissa.

The trailer shows only a bit of them and the other characters involved. The set design looks amazing and though we haven’t seen any real fight sequences in this trailer, it looks like there’s going to be plenty of blood spilled, one way or another.

We hope you stay tuned and enjoy this new series coming in less than a month!
