Young Pete was raised in the Pacific Northwest woods by Elliot the dragon. When Pete is found in the woods, the townspeople find it hard to believe his best friend is a dragon. But a new clip is showing us just how Elliot camouflages himself and how close he is with Pete!

The clip was posted by Oh My Disney, who also talked to director David Lowery about Pete’s origin story, the films’ timeline, and the central theme that matches up with the original tale.
