As Blastr reports, Peter Dinklage was his usual comedic, awesome self on David Letterman, though hardcore fans of A Song of Ice and Fire may not love when he sheepishly admits he hasn’t read the books:

Still, I think we can all forgive the Golden Globe and Emmy winner, who has been instrumental in carrying the show through three brilliant seasons as the much-beloved Tyrion Lannister.
And as he says: “I can’t read them now because our TV show is my day job,” I think we can all relate to that.
