PETE’S DRAGON clip features Bryce Dallas Howard and Robert Redford, plus images

Bryce Dallas Howard’s Grace talks to father Robert Redford about a certain drawing he drew for her in this Pete’s Dragon clip.

This latest Pete’s Dragon clip shows a scene between Bryce Dallas Howard, who plays a park ranger named Grace, and Robert Redford, who plays her father. It takes place soon after Grace finds a young boy named Pete, who’s been living in the woods for six years. Pete (Oakes Fegley) claims that he’s wasn’t living alone, but with a friend from the forest who’s been looking after him.

When Grace sees the drawing that Pete made of his friend, she’s reminded of a drawing from her past and goes looking for it in her father’s office.

Official synopsis:

For years, old wood carver Mr. Meacham (Robert Redford) has delighted local children with his tales of the fierce dragon that resides deep in the woods of the Pacific Northwest. To his daughter, Grace (Bryce Dallas Howard), who works as a forest ranger, these stories are little more than tall tales…until she meets Pete (Oakes Fegley).

Pete is a mysterious 10-year-old with no family and no home who claims to live in the woods with a giant, green dragon named Elliot. And from Pete’s descriptions, Elliot seems remarkably similar to the dragon from Mr. Meacham’s stories. With the help of Natalie (Oona Laurence), an 11-year-old girl whose father Jack (Wes Bentley) owns the local lumber mill, Grace sets out to determine where Pete came from, where he belongs, and the truth about this dragon.

Pete’s Dragon appears in theaters August 12, 2016.
