Red Rising author Pierce Brown reveals character art of Lyria, a new character from the upcoming book IRON GOLD.

Although Iron Gold, the first book in new Iron Gold trilogy by Pierce Brown, has been delayed until 2018, author Pierce Brown revealed this character art piece of Lyria, one of the new main protagonists in the book. She, along with Darrow and several others, will be one of the points of view we’ll be reading from this time around.

Character art by Magali Villeneuve.

A Red, recently liberated from the mines of Mars, Lyria wants so badly to believe in the principles and dreams of the Rising. But a harsh life in the refugee camps for herself and her family makes hope a difficult endeavor. Will she learn to live for more and find her place among the stars?

Also, there’s a quick Q&A with Pierce with Papercuts, where he answers “8 Great Questions.”

Check out our interview with Pierce Brown from SDCC 2016.

We hope to get more info about the other new characters for Iron Gold, which is expected to come out January 16, 2018.
