Rainbow Rowell’s FANGIRL to be adapted into a manga series

The world has been in a bit of a downside recently, but there’s something to look forward to in the near future, because Rainbow Rowell‘s bestselling novel, Fangirl, is getting the manga treatment!

Rowell confirmed this on her Instagram:

According to her, books and comics writer Sam Maggs will be adapting the novel into a four volume manga series for Viz Media. The great thing about all this is that Rowell will be working closely with Maggs to make sure this adaptation is as faithful to the book as possible, because that’s what we all want.

Looks like illustrator Gabi Nam was excited to show us some of the rough sketches she’s worked on for the cover:

If you want to pre-order a paperback copy, which comes out October 13, 2020, you can do so on Amazon or VizMedia.
