Watch the John Green, Ransom Riggs Conversation from Vidcon, and 2 more MISS PEREGRINE videos

The John Green with Ransom Riggs Conversation was one of the highlights of Vidcon 2016 and now you can watch it!

Vidcon just recently released the John Green, Ransom Riggs conversation on YouTube. In the video, they start off with the inspiration of the Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children books. Ransom explains how it started with the antique pictures that are in the books. They continue their conversation with growing up during the middle grade years.

A few previously scene trailers are shown. And at the 10:53 mark, a BTS clip is also shown, with some of the actors in the film giving their thoughts on it.  Additionally, there’s a quick shot of two main characters kissing.

Ransom reveals that he had seen the movie, twice, and talks about the experience watching it with his wife, author Tahereh Mafi. Both John and Ransom compared reactions, and crying during the screening of their films respectively.

You can watch the whole conversation below, which runs about 46 minutes long.

Here’s a new TV sport called “Meet the Peculiars,” which is pretty obvious what exactly it pertains to in the movie.

In this “The Tour” clip, Miss Peregrine (Eva Green) shows Jacob (Asa Butterfield) around the home and introduces him to some of the peculiars playing in the yard.

Also mentioned in the John Green, Ransom Riggs conversation is the upcoming companion book, Tales of the Peculiar, which has a publication date of September 3, 2016.

Before Miss Peregrine gave them a home, the story of peculiars was written in the Tales.

Wealthy cannibals who dine on the discarded limbs of peculiars. A fork-tongued princess. These are but a few of the truly brilliant stories in Tales of the Peculiar—the collection of fairy tales known to hide information about the peculiar world, including clues to the locations of time loops—first introduced by Ransom Riggs in his #1 bestselling Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children series.

Riggs now invites you to share his secrets of peculiar history, with a collection of original stories in this deluxe volume of Tales of the Peculiar. Featuring stunning illustrations from world-renowned artist Andrew Davidson, this compelling, rich, and truly peculiar anthology is the perfect gift for not only fans, but for all lovers of great storytelling.

Order Tales of the Peculiar on Amazon.

Watch Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children when it lands in theaters starting September 30th.
