THE RAVEN CYCLE Is Being Adapted Into TV Series

Rejoice! THE RAVEN CYCLE may soon be coming to a screen near you!

Maggie Stiefvater‘s The Raven Cycle series has been beloved in YA book fans for ages now, but there haven’t been many whispers for the series actually getting adapted to film or television. Well… surprise!

Publishers Marketplace first announced that the books had been picked up for a TV series adaptation by Universal Cable Productions. The executive producers for the show are Michael London (Sideways), Catherine Hardwicke (Twilight), and Andrew Miller (The Secret Circle), who will also serve as showrunner.

The announcement was a surprise to lots of people, including author Maggie Stiefvater herself!

The series, like the books, is “about four private school boys and a psychic’s daughter who quest for a sleeping king of Welsh legend in the mountains of Virginia, uncovering ancient magic, powerful dreams, and the devils in themselves.”

Stay tuned for more news on the potential series to be!
