Read The Warning Posted (And Then Removed) About THE LAST JEDI

AMC Theaters remove warning about the sound in STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI.

In one of the most shocking scenes of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, the sound of the film ceases entirely for a brief period of time that reportedly left a few fans confused. If you’ve seen the movie, you probably know what we’re talking about!

Two AMC theaters posted warnings about the moment in question that read:

“Please note. The Last Jedi contains a sequence at approximately 1 hour and 52 minutes into the movie in which ALL sound stops for about 10 full seconds. While the images continue to play on the screen you will hear nothing. This is intentionally done by the director for a creative effect.”

Fans criticized the signs as unnecessary and, yes — even silly. AMC then removed the signs from the two theaters in which they were posted and released a statement to EW: “The sign was up at two of AMC’s 660 locations. It was removed last week before the media coverage began.”

If you’ve seen The Last Jedi, what do you think of the signs? Were they necessary? Let us know in the comments!
