The role of Supernatural showrunner will exchange hands for the third time since creator Eric Kripke moved on.
Current Supernatural showrunner Jeremy Carver will be leaving the show after the season to work on the new CW series, Frequency. But that doesn’t mean he hasn’t left it in capable hands, and with two sets of capable hands to boot.
Robert Singer and Andrew Dabb will be taking the reins for the show’s twelfth season. Bobby has been with the series since the first season as executive producer and has directed over a dozen episodes, including “All Hell Breaks Loose: Part 1,” “Bad Day at Black Rock,” and this season’s “Don’t Call Me Shurley.”
Andrew Dabb first joined the crew in season four as a writer before taking on the positions of executive story editor, producer, and executive producer, has written close to three dozen episodes, including fan favorite “Yellow Fever,” “Hunteri Heroici,” and “The Devil in the Details.”
Supernatural’s season 11 finale, “We Happy Few,” airs on Wednesday, May 25th at 9|8c on the CW.
