Rhythm & Hues Wins at Oscars Despite Bankruptcy

Rhythm & Hues, the VFX studio behind many of the digital effects for The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, has filed for bankruptcy despite winning an Oscar for Life of Pi. Controversy arose when Bill Westenhofer’s acceptance speech was cut off by the Jaws theme when he started talking about the studio’s “severe financial difficulties.” Read the full story here.
