Iron Man’s Robert Downey Jr. does a live Facebook Q&A and teases some casting news for AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR.
Mr. Tony Stark himself, otherwise known as Robert Downey Jr., went live on Facebook on Friday to answer fan questions about his Marvel character. He just happened to be on set for the first day of production for the highly anticipated Avengers: Infinity War.
Not only that, but directors Joe Russo and Anthony Russo stopped by to be on camera and answer a couple of questions as well.
But an even bigger surprise came afterwards! Check it out!
Yeppers, folks. It’s official that both Tom Holland, who plays Peter Parker a.k.a. Spider-Man in Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Chris Pratt, who plays Peter Quill in Guardians of the Galaxy and its upcoming sequel Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2, are going to be in Infinity War!
But if you’ve been paying attention to the news, you probably already knew that. Still, it’s nice to finally get the official announcement.
Soon after RDJ’s Facebook live video was up, Marvel released an official video announcement of the production of Infinity War. The video lets us know what the plan is for the movie and to say it’s going to be epic is an understatement.
Avengers: Infinity War is set to hit theaters May 4, 2018, however, you can catch Pratt as Peter Quill in Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 on May 5, 2017 and Tom Holland as Peter Park (as well as RDJ as Tony Stark) in Spider-Man: Homecoming on July 7, 2017.
