Samuel L. Jackson is the latest actor to take up residence in MISS PEREGRINE’S HOME FOR PECULIAR CHILDREN!
A total BAMF is set to take part the movie adaptation of Ransom Riggs’ MISS PEREGRINE’S HOME FOR PECULIAR CHILDREN!
The movie will tell the story of “a teenager who finds himself on an island where he must help protect a group of orphans with special powers from creatures out to destroy them.”
Samuel L. Jackson has signed on for the role of Mr. Barron, who is reportedly on team evil and believed to be one of the disguises Dr. Golan uses to stalk Jacob Portman. Eva Green has already signed on as the title character, Miss Peregrine, while Asa Butterfield will play the story’s main subject, Jacob Portman.
After many rumors, Riggs confirmed the big news on Twitter:
Oh man this is a crazy day for Miss P announcements … because now I have CASTING NEWS!! And this one's a doozy: SAMUEL L. JACKSON.

MISS PEREGRINE marks a change for director Tim Burton, who is moving outside his comfort zone by working with actors outside his typical line-up. We’re really interested to see what he can do with a new group of creative minds!
MISS PEREGRINE’S HOME FOR PECULIAR CHILDREN is set to hit theaters on March 4, 2016.
