Sarah J. Maas, bestselling author of the Throne of Glass series, has recently released some updates about her soon-to-be-released books and their tour dates.
Queen of Shadows, the fourth book in the Throne of Glass series, will be out on September 1st of this year, while A Court of Thorns and Roses, the first book in her new fantasy series, is set to be released on May 5th, 2015. Sarah will be on tour most of the month of May, visiting various locations in both the US and the UK.
These are the Sarah J. Maas tour dates for the US:
Beyond getting countless excellent responses towards her book, A Court of Thorns and Roses has been described as “vicious and intoxicating” by RT Book Reviews, which Sarah J. Maas admitted to knocking her off her feet.
“[I] totally danced around my kitchen this morning when I read this one,” Maas said in regard to RT Book Reviews’ complementary feedback.
In addition, Publishers Weekly and Kirkus Reviews left words of praise for the twenty-nine year-old author.
“Maas draws themes and plot points from several fairy tales, fueling a well-developed world and complex relationships. The gruesome politics and magical might of the Fae may seem to leave Feyre hopelessly outmatched, but her grit and boundless loyalty demand that her foes—and readers—sit up and pay attention.” -Publishers Weekly
Not only did Sarah J. Maas release the dates and locations of her upcoming tour, but she also publicized images of the hardcover of A Court of Thorns and Roses. The US copy of the book jacket is made of a different material, appearing “shimmery” and “pearlescent,” according to Maas, with a wrap-around image of the main character, Feyre.
This creative new series, complete with an amazing book cover, promises to entertain readers worldwide.
When nineteen-year-old huntress Feyre kills a wolf in the woods, a beast-like creature arrives to demand retribution for it. Dragged to a treacherous magical land she only knows about from legends, Feyre discovers that her captor is not an animal, but Tamlin—one of the lethal, immortal faeries who once ruled their world.
As she dwells on his estate, her feelings for Tamlin transform from icy hostility into a fiery passion that burns through every lie and warning she’s been told about the beautiful, dangerous world of the Fae. But an ancient, wicked shadow grows over the faerie lands, and Feyre must find a way to stop it . . . or doom Tamlin—and his world—forever.
Perfect for fans of Kristin Cashore and George R. R. Martin, this first book in a sexy and action-packed new series is impossible to put down!
