In the spirit of Alexander Hamilton, Sarah J. Maas is writing non-stop, as she just revealed the title for the next installment of her A COURT OF THORNS AND ROSES Series.
We don’t have a cover reveal, but we do have a title reveal as A Court of Thorns and Roses author Sarah J. Maas revealed via her Instagram account the title of the next installment in the series: A Court of Frost and Starlight!
According to Maas, this is not quite a full-length novel, but it’s also not as short as a novella. It bridges the first three books and the upcoming short stories together, so, basically it answers some questions that have probably been lingering in some readers’ minds. Either that, or intends to create more questions.
The story will be told by both Feyre and Rhys and takes place several months after the events of A Court of Wings and Ruin, during the Winter Solstice. Here’s the synopsis that she added with the reveal:
Feyre, Rhys, and their close-knit circle of friends are still busy rebuilding the Night Court and the vastly-changed world beyond. But Winter Solstice is finally near, and with it, a hard-earned reprieve. Yet even the festive atmosphere can’t keep the shadows of the past from looming. As Feyre navigates her first Winter Solstice as High Lady, she finds that those dearest to her have more wounds than she anticipated–scars that will have far-reaching impact on the future of their Court.
A Court of Frost and Starlight (ACOFAS) is expected to hit stores May 1, 2018, and is available for pre-order on Amazon.
