THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY PART 2 Honest Trailer Questions Katniss’ Choices!
Screen Junkies is back at it with their Honest Trailer take on the end of a major YA franchise– The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2!
The jokesters are a little tough on the Young Adult genre on the whole, but there are definitely some gigglesnort-worthy moments in there as they dissect Katniss’ role in the war, Prim’s death, and explain why they insist Katniss should have chosen hunky Gale— or rather, Liam Hemsworth– over troubled but caring Peeta (and then people turn around and complain that nice guys finish last, amirite?) It’s all in good fun!
It definitely takes a certain type of person to really appreciate the end of the franchise, which is more about facing manipulation and sacrifice than it is guns and glory. Still, these guys did give us some good laughs, in part because they admit to the fact that they didn’t really get some aspects of the film.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 is currently out on Digital HD. The film comes to Blu-ray/DVD on March 22nd, along with The Hunger Games 4-Film Collection.
