We sit down with THE MAGICIANS stars Summer Bishil and Hale Appleman to talk royalty and faeries and funny lines.

The Magicians brings out some of the best characters and the actors to play those characters, including Summer Bishil and Hale Appleman, who play Margo and Eliot, respectively.

We start off with how their characters are dealing with Fillory without magic, including the faeries. They do talk about new sets, including the Muntjac, the living ship they’ll be sailing on.

Appleman talks about Eliot’s alcohol addiction and how that’s played out this past season, as well as if it’ll be an issue for Eliot in the coming season, especially with him dealing with the forthcoming fatherhood for his character.

On a more lighthearted note, they do talk about how they have to deal with their humorous lines during table reads and filming on set. Of course, neither will say they are the funnier of the two.

They do get to talk about their costumes, especially Margo’s eyepatches, which are apparently spectacular, and we can’t wait to see it. We’ll get to see some seafaring style of fashion from the two as well.

The Magicians will return to Syfy for season three in 2018.
