Check out the first photo from the set of Before I Fall!
The movie adaptation of author Lauren Oliver’s debut novel, Before I Fall, has finally started shooting this week, which means one thing: set photos.
The first photo from the set was posted on Instagram by Zoey Deutch, who will be playing the lead role of Sam Kingston in the film. The photo also features Paper Towns actress Halston Sage, director Ry Russo-Young, and actress Medalion Rahimi, who will play Elody in the movie.
“Before I Fall. (Or after we fell?)” Deutch writes on Instagram.
Lauren Oliver also posted about this photo on her Tumblr, showing that she has just as much enthusiasm and excitement about the project as the rest of us. “IT’S HAPPENING GUYS!” Oliver writes. “Pics from the #BIFMovie set!”
Deutch also posted this photo from her first day on set, captioning it simply, “Day 1. #BeforeIFallMovie.”
Before I Fall, follows teenage ‘mean girl’ Samantha Kingston as she gets in a car crash and finds herself living the same day again and again, trying to get it right. The film is set for a release some time next year, but until then, I’m sure there will be many more set photos to tide us over.
