Jace finally gets confronted, The Clave gets involved, and Lilith is making her move!

Things are finally coming to a head in Shadowhunters‘ next episode,  “A Heart of Darkness”. Now that the secret is out that Jace isn’t really Jace, this episode seems to be just what we’ve all been looking for. In the first promo immediately following last week’s episode, we see Lilith approach the Seelie Queen for help. She, of course, refuses and Lilith threatens to destroy her. So it seems that whatever relationship those two had (if any) is now burned, buried, and left for the ashes.

What I’m eagerly waiting for though is the clip right after where we see Jace begging his two ‘siblings’ to kill him. He literally shoves a knife into Izzy’s hand. Does she do it? I guess we’ll just have to wait for tomorrow night.

Two clips, encased in one handy video thanks to TVPromos, were later released showing the repercussions of Jace being identified as the Owl. In the first promo, Alec, Izzy, and Magnus have Jace trapped in a force field and naturally, Jace starts spewing out hateful and spiteful words. His words start affecting Alec and Magnus is forced to step in.

One may wonder where Clary was during this confrontation but the next promo clip answers that question as we see her cuffed and led like a prisoner. One can only wonder what she’s been accused of but one thing is certain, the Clave is not pleased at all.

The official synopsis and promo photos for “A Heart of Darkness” hint that things are about to hit the fan. So many questions, so many feelings. Brace yourself and prepare for tomorrow by checking out the photos below!

Magnus, Alec and Isabelle try to reach Jace inside The Owl, but even as powerful as Magnus is, can he help the Lightwoods retrieve their brother from his demon prison? Maia and Jordan join Simon on the hunt for Lilith, while Luke tries to find a way to get to Clary.
