Shadowhunters has announced the casting of Maureen. She will be played by Shailene Garnett in the new series. She is described as the other half of Simon’s band. There is no other information regarding her role in Shadowhunters. This could be a deviation from the book, as Maureen wasn’t part of Simon’s band although she was a huge fan of his.
